Opening: Operations Administrator
Location: On-site
Type: Part-time
Role: The Administrator will ensure the effective running of the organization’s financial, administrative, and reporting functions. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining strong financial systems, and coordinating funding administration. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the organization.
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance, administration, or operations.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and working with financial records.
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Excel, cloud-based systems like Google Drive/Dropbox).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.

Role: We are seeking a dynamic Researcher/Producer to support the research and production of Chimurenga’s editorial and curatorial projects. This role will contribute to the creation of publications, live and broadcast events, installations, and ongoing programmes. The ideal candidate is a skilled researcher and creative producer.
Requirements:
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in editorial production, cultural programming, or arts administration.
- Competence in design/layout (DTP) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility, curiosity and a willingness to engage with experimental and interdisciplinary projects.
