Known for his unique fusion of Afrobeat, highlife, jazz, and the ritualistic drumming of Ekombi, Etuk Ubong’s original style, “Earth Music”, infuses compositions that are both politically charged and deeply rooted in his cultural background, and which has drawn comparisons to prominent UK artists such as Shabaka Hutchings and Sons of Kemet, yet remains distinctly Nigerian.
Etuk Ubong will be joined by a 5 piece band descending from London and DJ Dylan Gibbons
